Access Statement for Ventnor Holiday Villas

Introduction

Ventnor Holiday Villas is a small Self – Catering site situated on a South facing slope overlooking Wheelers Bay.
We have apartments in a block of six at the top of the site and villas at varying levels on the slope leading down to Wheelers Bay.

Arrival & Car Parking Facilities

The apartment car park is tarmac and the private carpark on Wheelers Bay Road consists of gravel.

Reception

The reception for the Apartments is situated at the top of the site at Old Fort Place.
Access to reception from the apartments car park is a short level walk or up a slight slope from the private Wheelers Bay Road car park.

The reception for the Villas is now situated at 6 Madeira Road, Ventnor, PO38 1QP. There are five steps with handrail to reach the reception door. This is a 10 minute walk from the private villa carpark on Wheelers Bay Road. Therefore, picking up the key from reception on your way to the villas is recommended. If travelling by foot arrangements can be made to meet in the private villa carpark.

Apartments

Apartments 3 and 4 are at road level. Access is up three small steps with a flat walk and one small step into the apartments. Apartments 5 and 6 are up the three small steps and an additional fifteen steps to the top floor with a flat walk and one small step into the apartments.
All lounges and bedrooms carpeted and kitchens and bathrooms are vinyl. Shower over standard bath. The front door is 32 inches wide internal door into the lounge 28 inches and bedroom doors 25 inches. The Apartment is on one level inside.
